Cider tour

 

The highlight of this package is without doubt the cider tour on your second day. After a good nights sleep and a hearty breakfast you step aboard the complimentary shuttle that whisks you into the apple orchards surrounding the fjords. On the way you'll hear stories about the region told by a live guide while you pass the stunning landscape.

 

Upon arrival at the cider farm you will get a guided tour of the farm, production facilities and of course the picturesque apple orchards. Kvestad Cider Farm provides a stunning view from its location in the lush hillside high above the Hardangerfjord.

 

After learning all about the road from apple to cider the shuttle will take you to the Ola K Cider House where you get to taste your way through the different ciders of Hardanger paired with a tasteful tapas platter. Should you find a new favorite among the cders the shop will be open for those who wish to purchase the local ciders.
