Taste of Aga - Tradition and culture
Visit Aga in Hardanger and experience the history, culture, and flavors of long-standing traditions.
Here, between fjord and mountains, you’ll find a beautiful cultural landscape where apple cultivation has been part of the local history since the 1200s. Visit Aga Sideri, which in just a few years has become one of Norway’s largest producers of cider, both with and without alcohol.
In Hardanger, apple cider has been made for hundreds of years, and in the last decade its quality and flavour have reached new heights. Join a cider tasting at Aga Sideri, learn about the cider tradition, and experience the perfect combination of cider and cheese. The experience begins with a guided tour of the farm and our production facilities, where you will taste two of our ciders. From there, the tour continues to the tasting room, where you can sit down and enjoy two more ciders – each paired with a carefully selected Norwegian cheese.
Learn about fruit and cider production and take in the magnificent surroundings at Aga – in the very heart of Hardanger!
