Start the day with a delicious breakfast in the hotel's restaurant and walk along the fjord to the start of Apalvegen. There is a 30 minutes walk from the hotel to the farms.

In this tour we have included one cider tasting with a guided tours at 15:00. The first tasting will be held at either of the farms Ulvik Frukt & Cideri, Syse Gard or Hardanger Saft & Siderfabrikk - depending on the day. Before and after tasting you can pay a visit the other farms to see, hear an taste more. The farm shops are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00-17:00.

The Fruit and Cider Route is a collaboration between Hardanger Saft- og Siderfabrikk, Syse Farm, and Ulvik Frukt & Cideri. Yearly, the group hosts festivals in May (Siderslepp; celebrating their ciders) and October (Fruktslepp; celebrating the fruit harvest). All farms have outlets selling cider and other farm produce, such as fresh fruit, meat and apple juice, so we do recommend visiting all three.
